One day the son of the previous Rector who lived at the Old Rectory advised me that he owned three paintings that had been done of the Old Rectory sometime in the 1970’s! He had them and to my great joy, gave them to me. You should see them hanging when you come and visit the old Rectory. Of course even from the 1970’s this is still a very recent bit of the history of the Old Rectory as it has been in existence now for more than 300 years. Pictures of the paintings are included here.
